Maple Smoked Bacon

Salt and Chilli Ribs

We'd had some steamed Chinese ribs and there were some left over. Now I love the Salt and Chili Ribs at The Mayflower on Shaftstbury avenue. Many a late night munch on the chewy salty ribs covered in crispy garlic flakes.

So I decided to make my own up - and boy were they good....



Grilled Tuna with Wasabi Salsa

We'd had some friends for diner and they brought round too much Tuna.

Well - what's a man do do !

This was derived from a Nobu recipe



Made a simple salsa, soya, mirin and wasabi - lovely.



A superb meal

Chicken Carbonara 2

This one ended up a great use of leftover BBQ chicken.



Some homemade Lardons (see post on bacon !!)



And some dried wild mush for extra flavour



And then the thing about carbonara which always amazes me - the creaminess that comes from the egg and parmesan mixture. Lovely.
