Saag Gosht

Another great one from the superb Food of India

A decent hunk of lamb shoulder and a mountain of spinach

Base flavors from the ghee

After a visit to the local Asian supermarket I came back with some serious cinammon!

A lovely fry of the fragrants

And some spice action.......

Also decided to do a simple mushroom Bhaji

Normally I ground my own cumin and coriander - but decided to use the pre grind stuff (it was only a side dish after all!)

A decent base for the mushrooms

Chuckle - will it all get in ?

yep - it's spinach after all !

And there we go.... great Saturday evening meal
